A: Session frequency is determined by both client and counselor, and is based on client needs at that time. Frequency is flexible.
Q: I have close friends and family members that are counselors. Can they treat me?
A: Doing so creates a "dual relationship" and is unethical. The answer is no.
Q: Will you share my secrets?
A: No. Clinicians are bound by confidentiality laws and could loose their credentials and ability to practice if confidentiality is violated.
